Weight, dimensions and recipient type
Supply the weight and outer dimensions of the packed shipment. Weight is in grams; length, width and height are in centimetres.
| Channel and recipient | Weight (g) | Dimensions (cm) | Combined limit |
|---|---|---|---|
package, destination SE | Up to 5,000 | Each side up to 60 | length + width + height ≤ 90 |
package, other destinations | Up to 2,000 | Each side up to 60 | length + width + height ≤ 90 |
parcel, private recipient | 100–20,000 | Length 15–150; width ≥ 11; height ≥ 3.5 | length + 2 × width + 2 × height ≤ 300 |
parcel, company recipient | 100–35,000 per parcel | Length 15–150; width 11–50; height 3.5–50 | Each side must meet its range |
On smaller screens, scroll the table sideways to see every column. With a keyboard, focus the table and use the arrow keys.
item.recipient.company determines whether parcel business or consumer limits apply. Use the real company name for a business recipient; omit or leave it empty for a private recipient. These are request-validation bounds. The selected carrier's service must also support the destination and shipment.
Numeric values and validation
Weight must be an integer number of grams. For package, dimensions must be whole centimetres; the API's numeric lower bound is zero. Always send actual packed measurements. For parcel, decimal centimetres are accepted within the ranges above. The beta letter channel currently uses the package limits.
The OpenAPI schema includes conditional numeric bounds for CreateSingle. Check the combined dimension limit as well: OpenAPI 3.0 cannot express sums of sibling fields. No universal requirement for pickupSettings is imposed when selecting parcel; it contains optional sender-collection details.
